- First exit on the left down to the roundabout; follow the sign for Barrow (A590) for 6 miles
- First exit on the roundabout, follow the sign for Grange (B5277) at Lindale village turn left at the mini roundabout
- First exit (left) on the mini roundabout just past Grange railway station
- First exit on the mini roundabout to your left as you exit Grange railway station. Follow this road (Main Street) up the hill to the next mini roundabout.
- First exit on the mini roundabout, follow this road (The Esplanade) into (Park Road). Stay on this road
- Thornfield House is on your left on the corner of Thornfield Road, 100 metres past the Fire Station.
