3 Peaks Go Event
Staying in Grange for an annual event I was very pleased to have discovered Thornfield House. The single room was very clean, central heating and cosy with maximum use of available space with a fantastic view over the bay. Bathroom was well thought out with nice touches and en suite shower was good. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and choice of full English breakfast.A short walk into town but no downside for us and very good value for the money.

Wedding
spent three days at thorn-field house and was well looked after would recommend staying here.The views are superb the accommodation is good and clean and the full English breakfast is really good.enjoyed every minuet of the stay. there are a lot of things to do in area and the pubs have traditional ales so well worth going here.

Excellent
This was a really great place to stay. Warm welcome, clean modern room with crisp white bed linen. Superb breakfast which included homemade jams and fresh, not from concentrate, apple juice and orange juice. I stayed in Cartmel the evening before in accommodation that cost more yet had no where near the same level of quality. Highly recommended.

Well Worth Visiting - Looking Forward To My Next Stay With You
After booking for the 13th/14th September I read the reviews previously written and was a little shocked by the comments made for the 27th July - on arrival I was made very welcome by Lynne who made me a refreshing pot of tea. The single room was small but very clean and well decorated. The en-suite showeroom was more than adequate, the towels and bedding good quality and pristine. The breakfast on both mornings presented a varied menu which was excellent. I look forward to my next visit.

Grange Visit
Thornfield Guest House gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was clean and attractively
presented with a wonderful view of the eestuary. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and the evening meal was of the same high sstandard.

Restful& Welcoming
After a warm welcome I spent 3 very restful days at Thornfield House.My single room whilst very small had a superb view and a very comfortable bed!Meals were superb especially breakfast including a wonderful fresh fruit salad! I will definitely visit again.

Would Recommnend
We were shown to a lovely large room with bay views. Just unfortunate the weather was awful! Lynne was very helpful in suggesting eating places and made us very welcome. Nice breakfast in bright dining room very nicely laid out with lovely tablecloths and crockery.

Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely B&B. The room was superb with a great view of the bay, very comfortable bed and tasteful decor. We were made most welcome by the owners and especially enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast, made from good quality ingredients.

Bank Holiday Break
We enjoyed our overnight stay, very good value for money . You cannot beat the view over the Bay or the breakfast! Would happily recommend this as a good base for South Lakes.
